Do councils seriously have nothing better to do than rate and complain about the shininess of a sign? At what point does a sign become too shiny? Is yours on the cusp, or is it waaaaaaay past that?

Oh Bina - What an unexpected treat to see more of you! I shall follow your progress avidly, 'cos I'm a BIG fan and a small businessman. Like Tim & Baz, my eyes rolled heavenward at your struggle with the council over your sign. Hard to believe but, sadly, all too familiar from a similar story from my friend's Restaurant frontage battle some years ago. Different Council. Same story. Very frustrating indeed (ahh, the glories of British understatement!)
